Dear all,

You can see here the direction we are taking with the website: http://new.solarfire.org/

We are working on re-organization of all docs and think everything should be done in 3-4 days for the English side.

For the logo, here is were we are with your votes:
n°3 (3 persons), n°5 (5 pers.), n°6 (2 pers.) et n°8 (2 pers.)
Our friend is working on changes of typo/color.

If you have any comments, please don't hesitate!

If some of you speak/understand French, here is a recent short film about our friends of the Energy Vagabonds, 2 engineers who hitchhiked for a year from France to India to study energy. It present a bit of Solar Fire at 2h55 min.
Link here.

Bye, Eva

PS. If you haven't seen it already, we strongly recommend you to watch "Into Eternity", it is about nuclear waste and it is just amazing.

Hey,

Thanks URS for the moral support!

The logo's are here, then scroll down a bit.

They're drawn by a graphics artist that is a friend of our and runs Poupoupidou. Her first thought was simply sun + fire ... but we thought it maybe confusing since it's fire that we want to replace ... and there's no obvious way to represent a focal point (ends up as a pyramid). So we had the idea of a second theme which is the Zen circle to indicate simplicity: sun + simple. Obviously there can be a lot of variations, so don't hesitate to give ideas.

Now is the time to discuss these basic aspects, as it's better to get everything right the first time, for the structure and layout. Everything can then roll smoothly from there.

Warm regards
Eerik
