Position: Solar Program Manager

Position is located in Silicon Valley, CA.

Description:
The Solar Program Manager will be on the front end of customer contact
projects. Must be able to follow up with post projects, prepare LOI
and bidding documents, write and prepare RFP’s. Responsible for making
quotas and completing projects. Proven track record of success on
accomplished work. Must be self-driven, self-motivated and results
oriented.
Hard working share in company success. Able to work in a team
environment and possess great communications skills with a results
driven attitude.
Responsibilities:
• Project estimation, scheduling and planning on bidding docs and
RFP’s.
• You will communicate with all levels of management.
• Strong knowledge of MS Project and MS Office or knowledge of other
project management tools.
• Program leader who identifies and creates new processes or improves
efficiencies of existing processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are a must as this
position requires representing our client while working directly with
large global partners and across internal organizational boundaries.
Represent our client and their product while working directly with
customer partners.
• Candidate must have a strong passion for driving execution of
projects related to RFP’s LOI, sales
Qualifications:
• Experience leading solar projects; 4-7 years related experience in
solar project management or development management.
• Experience with developing or integrating large RFP programs that
generate income (highly desired). Must have experience driving or
participating RFP/ LOI process while seeking external solutions
providers. Experience in tracking contractual deliverables.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (preferably BSCS or similar) or equivalent
experience in a solar manufacturing environment. Only qualified
