Solar Jobs USA is looking for a Solar Project Coordinator for our
client who is one of the world's leading manufacturers of heating and
renewable energy systems.
Position: Solar Project Coordinator
Reporting to: Solar Manager
Employment: Full-time, salaried
Start date: Immediately
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island/Boston/ Connecticut
Position Description:
The Solar Project Coordinator assists the Solar Manager and the sales
network in North America, by providing solar project support,
technical advice and by assisting with the design of solar systems.
You will have a wide range of tasks, the most important ones being:
• Provide technical sales support and training on solar products to
the sales network and third parties
• Provide on-site project assistance including site assessment,
commissioning, and technical assistance
• Prepare thermal performance analyses, reports, quotations and
equipment lists.
• Use solar software to determine system sizing and performance
• Coordinate with the sales department and the sales network to ensure
efficient customer service
• Extraordinary and additional tasks as may be required during the
course of the business year
Essential skills and qualifications for position:
• Technical degree in related field; engineering associate or bachelor
degree is an asset
• A minimum of 5 years experience with solar products; field
experience with commercial solar thermal projects is preferred
• Experience with commercial boilers, hydronics and/or HVAC systems is
an asset
• HVAC, boiler or solar technicians with the ability to draw using CAD
and to communicate proficiently may also be considered
• Experience with TSol or similar thermal performance analysis
software and/or basic drafting a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing and able to travel domestically and abroad, valid passport
• Interpersonal skills must include a team approach to technical
problem solving and taking direction from senior team members
• Aware of proper conduct and responsibility towards customers and co-
workers
