Folks -
I don't mind saying I have toiled with FBSD on me lapdog - Today, I
got my onboard sound going! I didn't even know it was working - I
took for granted it just didn't (like FBSD). I didn't have to config
a damned thing!
I can now use my lapdog (on the train) and I can show and let users
listen that there are definite OS's out there other than 'dows....
This will surely sway the young-gun that works for me (whom is a vocal
'dows fan)... He will see via XChat and my MP3' that he *could* be
wrong about MS being the *only* end-all OS for the end user... Albeit,
the install has a bit to be desired but, it has already leaped tons
ahead of 2.5!!!
Well, anyways - I figured I might spew some good things - now back to
my regularly planned MP3 file ;)
