A funny coincidence would have tech...@netbsd.org debating the merits
of HTML for man pages while the Plan 9 mailing list is discussing the
difficulties involved in developing a light-weight web browser.

And then along comes David Korn :-)

More of the commands in 2.2 now support long options with leading --
and have self generating help messages which can be generated by running
command --help
or
command --man
In addition, man -b will run command --html, and display the resulting
html file in your browser. Most of the man pages are also
accessible from the UWIN home page by clocking on 'Utilties that
come with UWIN'.
