Trouble installing OpenOffice 1.1.2 on 4.10

Hi,
I am struggling through my first installation.
I want OpenOffice 1.1.2 to run on 4.10_RELEASE

I have downloaded the install files from the
OpenOffice site using KDE

The install instructions for say to run
./setup -net

I cannot get this setup to be recognised
as a command.

I have a sum total of a week's exposure
to freeBSD (and anything else linux-ish),
so even the most obvious will help.
