Er ... that's supposed to be 2GHz, but I don't think Athlon ever made a 2MHz
CPU, so you probably knew that ...

Thanks very much for the detailed answer, i will most sure try this out
today, i really wish i could figure out what was causing my kernel panic
with those nvidia drivers.

And yes i did realise the mistake, i think 10mhz was there slowest thou

the slowest [Athlon]? No. there [sic] slowest? Perhaps.

AMD has been around for a long time. I've seen some onboard stuff of
theirs on like i386s and stuff. I think. Not sure though.

Right, AMD. It's been a hot day, and my brain isn't working so well ...
Properly, then, "I wasn't aware that AMD had been around that long."

However, that was not my misspelling of "their."

i tend to not ignore that - just i use it as argument against.

less popular software (and with less information noise with it) is better.
this rule works for years.

I had good luck with Apsfilter (/usr/ports/print/apsfilter).
During the "setup" script I chose the "hpijs" driver. It works
well with my HP 6110xi.
