Er ... that's supposed to be 2GHz, but I don't think Athlon ever made a 2MHz

AMD has been around for a long time. I've seen some onboard stuff of
theirs on like i386s and stuff. I think. Not sure though.

i tend to not ignore that - just i use it as argument against.
less popular software (and with less information noise with it) is better.

I had good luck with Apsfilter (/usr/ports/print/apsfilter).
During the "setup" script I chose the "hpijs" driver. It works
well with my HP 6110xi.
