Yes it is true that to castrate immediately before killing, to prevent
testosterone release, is "hogwash" (pun intended). You have to castrate at
about 8 weeks of age to prevent spoiling the meat. Everybody who has ever
seen a live boar knows that. A grown boar has already released LOTS of
testosterone (they are MEAN) over many months & years that has already
spoiled the meat. That's why boars don't go to the meat industry, they are
prize-winning studs who are left to live and breed forever. When they get
old and die, they go to stuff like pet food because the meat is too tough
for humans to eat.

So the only thing worse than a bunch of assholes who slaughter pigs on
radio for ratings, are a bunch of misinformed, uneducated and stupid
assholes who slaughter pigs on radio for ratings. (wxtb tampa either way)
