SoL 4.0rc2

Hi all,

this is to inform you that SoL4 entered its final phase, and I just released
the second "release candidate", where only minor fixes happens here and there.

Two important things happened since my last message:

a) SoL3 is gone for good, and the accessing the old sol3.arstecnica.it will
redirect to the new sol4.metapensiero.it site

b) SoL4 is now able to handle "knockout" tournaments, and this is the last
substantial improvement I had planned for v4: probably it will require
further tweaks, as it's usual for new features nobody tested out yet

Thanks a lot in particular to Carlito and Elisa, who patiently instructed and
encouraged me.

Hi All,

As usual Lele has been very modest and not mentioned  the amazing work that he did in record time for the online carrom tournaments. His quick intervention is what enabled us all to enjoy organizing and playing 3 corona carrom events with around 80 players involved without going crazy! The on line score recording system has been vital. It will also prove very useful in the normal carrom tournaments which we hope will once again take place soon!

SoL4 is a great achievement. Enjoy trying it out.
