How to remove competitors from a tournament??

Hi Lele,

  This is Yuvaraj from Demark Carrom Association. I've recently started using SoL(v4.21). It great tool for Carrom overall with lots of nice features.  Thanks for your efforts.

I have one questions in managing competitors.

1) How do i remove a competitor from a tournament??

Eg. We are organizing a tournament on 16-Mar-2024. I'm preparing the players on SoL system before the tournament begins. One players is dropping off from the tournament, but he is already added into the tournaments competitor. Now i want to remove that player from the competitor list. The only option i have is to recreate the entire tournament and add all player again as competitors. It would be good if there is an option to remove the competitor from a tournament.

second example : I started a doubles championship and created a tournament. By mistake, I assigned a singles championship while creating the tournament. While adding the competitors, i realized that its not showing the competitors for doubles. Now i changed the tournament to be under doubles championship. When i add new competitors, its correctly adding the pair as competitor. Now the challenge is that the participants added before correcting the championship is showing as individual competitor and not as a pair. So i need to remove the competitor from this tournament.

Basically, by double-clicking on the name of one competitor you can
"retire" her from the tournament: when done before the first turn that
player is simply removed from the tourney.

No need to remove and readd them, just use "drag and drop" to properly
pair them: you click on the name of one player and , keeping the mouse
button pressed you drag it over in the right place, pairing with another
guy. As explained in the page above, you can drag the player in an empty
space outside the competitors panel to actually remove it from the list.

It was this specific info that i was missing.

Drag and drop functionality to modify the pair also worked.
