A quick email with updates on Pedometrics 2017.
First of all we would like to draw your attention to the proposed workshops (www.pedometrics2017.org/pre-conference-workshops).
Please register for these workshops (and excursions) by May 1.
Thank you for submitting abstracts, a large number were submitted (around 300) from which 130 have been accepted for oral and 165 for poster presentations.
There was a large proportion from the PSS community with the breakdown of author requested sessions as follows,
DSM: 39 oral, 33 poster
Digital soil morphometics: 5 oral, 6 poster Soil-landscape modelling: 5 oral, 5 poster Soil monitoring: 9 oral, 9 poster Proximal soil sensing: 20 oral, 32 poster
The sessions will be finalised following close of registration (May 10).
By the way, all presenters will be invited to submit the manuscript to two special issues of Geoderma and EJSS after conference.
