The Friday of the conference will be an interactive evening with Pansaari owner and chef Rano Singh. Participants will learn how to cook healthy, affordable, and delicious Indian meals by using local produce and the whole vegetable. Local farmers will join the discussion on sustainable and healthy food systems. Workshop, food tasters and drinks are included in the price.

Lewis H Ziska - Research Plant physiologist with an interest in the interactions between plant biology, climate change and public health.
Kelly Hodgins - Program Coordinator at the Feeding 9 Billion at the University of Guelph. The Feeding 9 Billion Challenge is an exciting 24-hour event taking place in universities across Canada. It challenges undergraduate students to work in teams to develop innovative projects fostering a more sustainable food system. A shorter version will take place with the participation of the attendees at our event.

Jason Rowntree - Associate Professor in the Department of Animal Science, Beef Cattle and Forage Utilization at the Michigan State University. He is a scientific advisor and an accredited Holistic Management Educator for the Savory Institute and is an advisor of Standard Soil.
