This "Revisiting" only accounts for Ag waste feedstocks, and doesn't account for dedicated biomass crops which in the US are projected to be 1.6 Giga tons by 2030

Guy Lomax stated "I’ve not discounted the results by any carbon dioxide released during field operations to gather the residue, transport it to the pyrolysis facility, and return the char to the field." 

 I would be interested to know what figures he used for transport of the residue and bio char.  Locally produced bio char would use much less carbon dioxide than long distance operations.

Humas that would be held by the bio char for much longer periods would also hold a significant amount of carbon.  Was this taken into account?
