La Cense Beef out of Montana is doing a hard PR and Marketing push in
both digital and print media arenas. I bought some of their grass-fed
beef hamburgers through mail order with a free shipping purchase code
and to be honest, the burgers were some of the best I've ever had. The
taste was distinct and different from most beef I've had. I supported
this commercial venture because of what I know about carbon
sequestration through grazing and holistic land management.

I feel like the vein of this concept has been discovered by a segment
of the population of the USA, but aside from the concept of "mmm
tasty" and animal rights (no feeding pens) there is little emphasis on
what this kind of industry could do for a local economy and
environment.

I think a grass-fed beef themed party with La Cense beef could be a
good place to present some of the Soil-Age ideas we've been discussing
and have a generally good meal.
