Job Title: .Net Developer

Location: Columbus, OH

Contract: 6+ Months Contract

 

Description:

experience with WCF and a minimum of 6 years experience in IT.  He or she must also have a minimum of 36 months in medium to large projects utilizing desired technology, including use of UML and/or Rational Methodology.  The candidate must understand and have experience with most aspects of project management methodologies and techniques (status reporting, issue management, risk management, implementation planning, etc.) and is able to participate and contribute in the associated activities. 

 

Required:

• Microsoft ASP - .Net - XML
• Understands and has used OO concepts 
• Must be skilled in using Microsoft web development tools
• Ability to capture complex business concepts and implement sound, reusable design
• Mature development and design skills - Exposure to open source technologies
• Ability to own deliverables in its entirety
• Able to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Able to participate in testing and implementation activities including the development of data verification methods
• Able to accurately estimate development work effort
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong initiative – Able to communicate that during an interview. 
• Experience authoring (as opposed to just consuming) WCF services
• Experience with Entity Framework
• At least some exposure to Unity.
• Participated in at least 2 complete project life cycles (analysis/design/construction/QA/implementation)
• Desired - Experience in leadership roles
