                                Urgent Requirement

Job Title: UDB Database Admin
Location: Reston, VA
Duration: 8 Months Contract

Requirement:
In depth experience with DB2 UDB  database installation, configuration and upgrade on AIX / Linux platforms
Table space management of DPF databases
Excellent knowledge of Database backup and recovery of very large databases, typically multi terabytes
Expert level troubleshooting knowledge of data warehouse type UDB databases
Expert level of performance and tuning skills
Excellent knowledge of UDB database/instance tuning, optimizing complex SQL statements for best possible performance.
Good Knowledge of new features of version 9.7
Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multiple UDB version, instances with multiple operating system platform
Good scripting skills to create and maintain shell scripts to automate various database related tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding of incident management and change management processes
Must be a team player
