Job Title: Wintel Engineer
Location: Nashville, TN                     
Duration: 1 Year contract                         

Note: These resources are required for Windows design, engineering, maintenance and support escalations requried through 2013. Resources for Windows design, engineering, maintenance and support escalations

Client is searching for an individual who will function as a System/Server Administrator I.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Installation of software on Windows servers. Monitor team request Q for work to be done. Run assigned projects within a given timeline.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Familiar with Windows 2000, 2003 and 2008 operating sytems. Able to work with citrix, virtual servers and clustering technology.

REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL SKILLS: Same as Technical.

PREFERRED SKILLS: Able to operate in a project oriented work stream. Skilled at prioritization of work. Team Player. Experience with Remedy.

OTHER SOFT SKILLS/INTANGIBLES:
The preferred candidate should possess the following: 5+Years experience supporting Windows server environments; Experience managing a Windows 2003, or Windows 2008 server environment; Advanced knowledge of Windows 2000, Windows 2003; Solid understanding and support of large DNS, WINS, and DHCP networks; Advanced troubleshooting skills on SQL7/SQL2000, SMS, IIS, and MSCS; Strong experience with Citrix and VMWare server virtualization; Experience with server security, upgrades and deployment of security and operating system patches; Solid scripting experience with VB, WSH, WMI and ADSI a major plus.
