Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Mclean, VA                                                 

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

 

Statement:           
This Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting project analysis for multiple Program Managers closely partnering with various cross-functional groups.
Will support Portfolio Management analysis and reporting functions, including but not limited to program budget analysis, status reporting, and ad hoc presentation work.  
Maintain project, program, and portfolio repository and environment for managing auditable artifacts and deliverables.  
Other duties as assigned by management team

 

Skills:                      
Project lifecycle experience
Analytical skills to quickly grasp business need and translate into succinct documents such as process flow diagrams, excel workbooks, matrices, and PowerPoint presentations
Experience with project management processes including change management / risk and issue management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Expert knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint , and SharePoint
Working knowledge of Planview a big plus
Experience in the Mortgage industry, Freddie Mac, and operational processes and information needs are a plus
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus
Prior consulting experience is a plus
