Job Title: ASP.Net
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 12 months Contract
Brief Description Of Assignment:
The consultant will analyze, develop and maintain ASP .Net and VB.NET software relating to warehouse and shipping operations. The applications use Oracle databases; Java skills and experience would be a plus, but are not required.
Years of Work Experience:
2 to 4
Personal Skills Required:
Excellent communication skills
Ability to understand abstract technical ideas and concepts effectively
Ability to progress/complete assignments with minimal supervision
Technical Skills Required:
VB.NET experience -- Including accessing remote databases via ADO/ADO.NET and experience developing in a service oriented architecture environment. This would include creating and accessing web services using XML.
Oracle PL/SQL -- Experience writing Oracle stored procedures, triggers, etc.
Web application development using ASP.NET.
Additional Skills/Qualities not required but would be a plus:
Java and IBM Websphere
MQ Series
Warehouse and shipping industry experience
