Job Title: SQL Developer
Location: L’Oreal Berkley Heights, NJ
Duration: 6-18 Months Contract
               Must be available for F2F

              SQL/SSAS/SSRS Developer
The SQL/SSAS Developer should possess excellent technical/business communication skills to interact with both IT & business teams for understanding requirements to develop and deploy business intelligence reports. This includes understanding and experience applying SDLC processes. The position requires 8+ years experience in the IT industry and 5 to 7 years of experience hands on development using in the MS SQL 2005/2008 environments. The position requires excellent unit testing skills.

Responsibilities:
MUST HAVE SSAS
Analyze, design, build and maintain reports using SQL SSRS 2008 R2
Analyze, design, build and maintain cubes using SQL SSAS 2008 R2
Accessing data in a wide variety of formats, and get data to target format.
Design & develop a reusable database/framework, to support an ETL processes as well as scheduling processes
Build modules to apply business rules, transform the data and load into a data store.
Document the rational and rules for reports and cubes. This includes measures, dimensions and hierarchies.
Document the rational, process of extraction and business rules.
Automate ETL/batch processes and send automated notifications to various parties if processes fail.
Needs to be able to work as an individual contributor as well as in a team.

Skills:
5 to 7 years building reports utilizing SSRS, SSAS, SSIS as well as TSQL and DB Triggers. 4 years of experience must be on 2005 and 2008 platforms.
5 to 7 years of hands-on SQL programming, tuning and optimization experience. Stored Proc programming experience required.
4 yrs of hands-on data transformation coding using an ETL Tool or programming language
2 * 3 years experience in designing, building and optimizing reporting data marts.
1 to 2 years hands on experience with real time or near real time data transformations for operational reporting. Experience with change data capture or other software technologies.
Knowledge/experience with data warehousing concepts such as data modeling, data quality, and data cleansing.
Knowledge/experience with both Relational and Dimensional Models.
