Job Title: AppSense Admin
Location: McLean, VA                                  
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Must-haves
Must be assertive, confident and comfortable taking the lead by establishing command and control when necessary
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal; ability to communicate across all levels)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous work streams simultaneously
Must have great attention to detail while operating with urgency, focus and discipline
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required (troubleshooting or other problem/incident management experience)
Maintains awareness and expertise relative to evolving technologies and techniques
Must have the ability to work independently; strong thought leadership and motivation

Support existing AppSense servers and farms
Provide AppSense support to end users
Install and Configure AppSense and Applications
General AppSense tasks (migrations, new implementations, etc
Patch management on the AppSense servers and agents.

Very experienced with implementing AppSense (management center and personalization server) -Very good conceptual understanding and hands-on experience with the configuration of corporate desktops and applications -Strong understanding of Enterprise Infrastructure Architectures (Citrix, SQL, Windows Server, Firewall, AD, Network) -Strong knowledge (hands-on) of automatic installation techniques, especially MSI, PowerShell, VB Script -Strong understanding of Enterprise Infrastructure Architectures (Citrix, SQL, Windows Server, Firewall, AD, Network) -Strong knowledge (hands-on) of automatic installation techniques, especially MSI, PowerShell, VB Script -Strong communication skills both verbal and written -Strong Analytical and Problem Solving skills -Must have experience working in a multi site, global enterprise environment -Undergraduate degree, computer science or information technology preferred
