Full Job Description:
The SQL Database Developer will work under the guidance and supervision of the Data Integration Manager. The primary responsibilities of this position are to participate in the design, development and support data import, reporting, manipulation and extraction, including and not limited to creation of complex queries, DTS and SSIS packages, analyzing database performance and making recommendation for improvements, testing and evaluating new database features.

Qualified Applicants will possess the following:
4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field (required)
(3) or more years experience in relational database design and development using SQL Server is required
(2) or more years working experience with DTS & SSIS packages
(1) or more years experience developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services is preferred but not required
Some experience in .Net Framework is preferred
Seasoned in the full development life cycle including requirements gathering
Experience developing and supporting mission critical applications that function 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Strong debugging, performance tuning and troubleshooting skills

Additional responsibilities and skills required:
Develop new and tune existing SQL queries as needed
Maintain and improve existing Import and Extract processes
Be on call 24x7 on an as needed basis and troubleshoot database issues individually or through a team effort
Investigate and resolve data issues as needed.
Must be methodical and able to establish priorities
Must be able to recognize confidential data issues and maintain this confidentiality.
Must be able to work in a strong team-oriented environment
Ability to handle high volumes of work without error
