Procurement Master Data
Analysis – Work with PROCUREMENT project team on Molded Fiber Conversion to
SAP. The job is to take direction from the leads, work with data extracted from
JDE, spreadsheets, other applications and improve the quality for loading into
SAP.
POSITION
DESCRIPTION
Analyst will work with
our project team consisting of internal IT and business personnel to work on
master data pertaining to Procurement. We are converting 6 to 8 sites in 2013
from legacy systems to SAP. Data will be extracted from those legacy systems
and populated into templates. This role is to work with the data, team and
business groups to improve the quality, insure the completeness and keep to a
specific timeline. Data will be anything from ram materials, FEMI, packaging
materials and other data related to SAP.
This individual will
also have the chance to travel with the team during our go-live support for the
locations.
EXPERIENCE
• experience in SAP
• experience working
with Microsoft Access/Excel
• Experience in SAP
MM/PP modules – Knowledge of the data structures
PREFERRED
SKILLS
• Must be able to take
direction from others
• Ability to work
independently and collaboratively
• Microsoft tools (Access/Excel)
• Well spoken. Will be
working with folks from directors/managers down to shop floor personnel
• Work experience in a
manufacturing setting that utilizes SAP;
• Ability to work and
communicate well with all levels;
• Strong organization
and prioritization skills required to meet strict deadlines;
• Ability to multi task
and work as a team member.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Translate business
requirements/direction into master data completion/quality
• Responsible for
multiple data files for the conversion
• Must keep to specific
timelines
• Develop project
documentation for data templates/processes for updating and supporting project
• If necessary, create
test plans, and perform unit and system testing for data loads

• Willingness to learn.
Important to understand clients way of doing things and custom process that
meet the business needs
• Ability to travel. If
the individual can learn the clients way, there is the opportunity to travel
with the team to the go-lives and support those plants from both a data and
functional process
• Spanish would be
helpful ( 1 plant is based in Mexico)
