Associate Quality Assurance Analyst
· Work as an individual contributor with minimum support from Management · Hands on in analyzing product development design and articulate expected testing approach · Responsible for writing detailed test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on detailed requirements · Experience using traceability to support test case creation · Experience writing and executing Blackbox, Smoke, Functional and Regression test cases · Interfaces with other functional teams on aspects of the feature or sub-system · Frequently interfaces with Development, Project Managers and Business Analysts team members · Be proactive to take new initiative and drive it to completion · Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk
· Experience with commercial/business, mortgage, equity, or consumer lending preferred. · Experience supporting loan origination testing preferred. · Minimum of 1 to 3 year’s experience in fast-paced software industry with an in-depth understanding of QA methodologies · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Working knowledge of front-end and back-end applications · Ability to document and track defects, as well as produce detailed reports using defect tracking tools · Familiarity with software development lifecycles · Understanding of Object Oriented design and methodologies · Working experience working with .NET Web based applications · Solid knowledge of web applications · Strong team player yet able to work with minimum supervision · Experience using Visual Studio or Quality Test Partner (QTP) for automation of test cases preferred
