Senior Software Engineer in Test - Java, API, Cloud

You enjoy testing and development both. You are a great tester first and a great developer second. You enjoy breaking things and writing defects more than what would be possible in a purely development role. Qualifications:

5+ years experience as a QA Engineer testing through a full lifecycle for web-based applications, preferably eCommerce Experience building advanced automated test suites to exercise complex mission critical applications. Ability and experience doing functional testing of applications and writing defects Experience doing performance/load testing a plus Ability to analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test it Working knowledge of Java or a C-based language Working knowledge of one or more common scripting languages (Javascript, Python, Perl, Ruby) Good working knowledge of Internet technologies/architectures and Unix/Linus environments Experience with an Agile Development environment Self-motivated, driven to achieve committed milestones Strong collaboration skills, ability to mentor and be mentored Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural development team
