EMC Test Engineer
# Coordinate EMC testing with both in-house and outsourced EMC test laboratories. # Coordinate the set-up of EMC tests to assure that all good EMC laboratory practices are being followed. # Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of EMC test equipment (such as spectrum analyzers and antennas). # Act as the first contact for EMC test anomalies and collaborate with the engineering team in trouble-shooting EMC test failures # Working knowledge of EMC circuits and methods.
# 5+ years experience in a fast paced, client focused, EMC test environment # Recent experience with electro-mechanical validation and compliance testing # Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and written, concepts, ideas, and routine details to various levels of technical and non-technical engineering and management personnel. # Experience in the Automotive/OEM industry and a basic understanding of audio amplifier technology is desirable. # Experience with schematic and circuit board layout with a focus on design for EMC is desirable. # Domestic travel about 15%
The candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
