• Direct and support development of electrical, mechanical, and software specifications to test end items. Flow down and track customer and system specifications to systems, electrical, mechanical, and software detail specifications. Oversee and manage requirements tracking • Support the Business Development or Engineering organizations in new business pursuits, including customer technical visits, preparation of RFQ responses, and responsibility for preparation of technical proposals • Develop verification and validation procedures to ensure system will perform as specified to meet customer and system requirements. Supervise and approve V&V development and testing • Support failure investigation in developing cause and corrective action for manufacturing and customer top-level systems integration and test failures • Developing Test Methods and creating test fixtures • Manage the development of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) from conception through implementation • Communicate technical issues through written, verbal and presentation media
• A proactive style, high energy level, and positive outlook • Ability to plan and prioritize work • Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team • Generating and presenting progress status and test data reports • Good communication skills (verbal and written) and team oriented, communication with internal and external customers • Aerospace experience is preferred. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Software / System Engineering or related field is required
• Competent working with all Microsoft Office • A highly organized, self-motivated individual contributor capable of operating with minimal direction
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project/Server • Lean manufacturing knowledge
