Quality Assurance Specialist (Entry Level)

- Ability to Produce and Execute Test Plans - Produce and Execute Test Cases - Defect Reporting and Tracking - Assessment of quality on Product Release - Utilize critical thinking skills throughout the development lifecycle for a project - Uphold formalized process and documentation standards

- Ability to analyze testing requirements and expectations conceptually from documents and verbal description then formulate test strategy - Understand how to write clear test cases - Understand standards for logging a bug correctly - Ability to produce bug reports - Communicate testing status to team appropriately - Understand QA status standards per QA Best Practices - Understand the business, technology, and integration points involved in a given task/project - Proficient in MS Office Suite - - Proficient in understanding symbols, terms, etc., in various documents used by IS Department such as Scope Statements, Use Cases, UI Specs, Object Models, Design Documents, QA Deployment Diagrams - Use of test matrices in Excel

- 1-3 years of experience as a Software Tester or other IS team role (such as Support, development, analyst, project manager, etc.) - OR, a candidate having experience with, and interest in, technology and software development

- Experience in logistics industry desired but not required - Experience in automated test case creation and execution desired but not required
