QA Manager

• Test mobile applications across all the major platforms (iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows, BlackBerry, etc.)

• Stress, load and functionality testing at various software layers

• Create, maintain, write, and execute test plans and test cases

• Develop and maintain test scripts within a test framework

• Generate test execution reports for management, product, and development teams

• Create, maintain, and write tools to increase QA productivity

• Participate in bug review processes to identify deficiencies and improvements in automated tests

• Participate in design and specification reviews

• Ensure comprehensive test coverage by finding bugs, defects and verifying fixes

• Minimum of 5 years QA experience

• BA/BS in computer science, math, or related field

• Strong understanding and experience in QA methodologies, tools, techniques and approaches

• Strong understanding of testing mobile platforms and browsers as well as messaging (SMS/MMS)

• Strong understanding of multiple release environments

• Good understanding of programming: JavaScript, HTML, XML, JSP and Java (unit tests)

• Knowledgeable about Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems

• Knowledge of automated QA (load testing, automated test scripts)

• Familiarity with JIRA

• Solid written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical skills

• Sense for usability, design, and development best practices

• An affinity for process

• Release management experience required

• Proven experience supervising and leading teams (bug testers)

• Must be able to provide samples of previous work (QA test plans)
