Software Quality Assurance Analyst

· 1+ years of manual and automated software quality/testing experience.

· Superb verbal and writing communication skills.

· Ability to travel up to 25%

· 2 to 4 years of applicable industry knowledge and software testing experience.

· Demonstrated proficiency using automated testing tools.

Software Quality Assurance Analysts plan, develop, maintain, and execute a wide range of moderately complex quality tests and analyses to ensure software functions according to specified standards and end-user requirements.

They execute manual and/or automated tests according to established test plans and specifications, document defects and issues, and retest software corrections to ensure problems are resolved.

Demonstrating an understanding of software processes from the customer's perspective, Software Quality Assurance Analysts design, draft, and/or revise moderately complex, manual and/or automated test scripts;

they perform some risk assessments.

They may assist with the review of standards and procedures, process improvement initiatives, and monitoring/reporting system metrics.

Under general supervision, Software Quality Assurance Analysts identify and make recommendations for application modifications and changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality initiatives.
