Quality Assurance Engineer
* Generate test plans, test scripts and test reports for targeted Smith Micro software * Execute tests, including but not limited to regression tests and performance tests * Update and report issues into Smith Micro’s bug tracking tool and work with Software Engineers to resolve issues * Maintain detailed records of all test cases and reports on all tests run against each development release * Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on Windows/Linux workstations
* 2+ years of experience in software testing * Good understanding of both QA and software development life cycles * Extensive experience in Windows/Linux environment with both desktop and enterprise systems * Hands on experience with test case management software * Experience of working in an Agile environment * Fluent in English
* Device management and telecom experience * Basic knowledge of some object oriented programming language (for test automation purposes) - preferably JAVA * Experience with Selenium test tool * Basic understanding of 3G/4G Cellular technology and WiFi * Scrum/Agile methodologies experience
