Java J2EE Front-End Developers

Job Responsibilities:

As a team member you will have an opportunity of work on many of these systems as well as work with various cross-functional teams to participate in entire life-cycle of the products.

• Understand the business requirements, translate them into design and implementation approaches, and rapidly drive convergence towards the best solution.
• Engineer the full product lifecycle, from concepts, design through to maintenance, managing prioritization and trade-offs across functional domains
• Hands-on coding: Develop and maintain high quality code base, consistently delivering challenging, stable, and maintainable projects on schedule.

 

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• A solid computer science foundation including data structures, programming languages, operating systems, software engineering, and databases.
• Strong experience with JSP, Servlets, Struts, MVC, and Spring
• Strong experience with Object Oriented JavaScript,CSS, and DHTML
• Experience working with YUI widgets or JQuery or GWT, AJAX, and developing interactive web applications
• Strong, hands-on Java, J2EE development skills - ideally with JBOSS else Web Logic/Websphere
• Knowledge of cross browser issues and internet security
• Strong background in object oriented design and design patterns
• Excellent debugging and testing skills
• Attention to detail, strong hands on, flexible with assignments, and can-do attitude
• Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills to work with various cross functional teams on multi-team projects
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Should have a strong sense of commitment and responsibility.
• BSCS/MSCS or equivalent

 

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Experience with Databases
• Experience in Advertisement management systems is definitely a plus
• Experience with building large scale, distributed, highly scalable and highly available internet enabled enterprise server systems
• Self starter/high energy, deadline-driven, dependable and can deliver results with aggressive deadlines
• Track record in mentoring junior engineers
• Knowledge of production support activities
