Title: Big Data QA Automation Engineer -- Candidates with LinkedIn profile will be preferred

Client Location: Dallas TX

Work Location: Remote due to covid (must be willing to work onsite once covid restrictions gets lifted)

Position Type : Contract

Duration : 6+ Months

Interview Process : Video Interview

NOTE: Local or nearby candidates will be given first preference

 

Client is willing to consider a Big DATA Engineer/Developer who is willing work in QA space.

Job Description:

  • Overall 8-10 years of experience in IT.
  • hands on Python Programming
  • Experience in working with BigQuery, Hive and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience in creating and using RESTful APIs for enterprise applications (JSON, REST)
  • Experience in creating and maintaining automation scripts in unix and python.
  • Should be strong in SQL, PL/SQL
  • Working knowledge of Postgres or SQL Server
  • Experience with the latest trends in cloud computing, distributed systems, web technologies and UI/UX standards
  • Provide technical support to delivery teams which may include testing and creation of utilities to support testing.
  • Excellent organizational, troubleshooting and analytical skills required
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the software development life cycle
  • Experience developing in a fast-paced environment with short production timelines
  • Experience in writing unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment with strict deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and Strong attention to detail
  • Proven communication and documentation skills

  • Python / Py Spark: 1+ years
  • SQL: 5+ years
  • Hive  : 2+ years
