21st century is the era of mobility, cloud, expertise, globalization but recently addition of one more term augmented the entire spectrum which is "CROWD SOURCING". If you are localizing a product & seeking to uncover all defects which users could easily encounter in real life : Crowd sourcing is the answer.

Industries are finding ways of soliciting a large influx of people to foresee the problems. Where the scope of additional testing is halted there comes in the crowd sourcing.

Ex: A team tested a product in different languages, it is obvious that they can use it very easily but when the same product is launched in the market, the users are finding the language very badly translated.
Here in putting the same members who tested the product for more testing will not cultivate good results.
Phenomena of crowd sourcing comes in here. A heterogeneous influx knowing different languages or native language can be involved when a product is more user centric. It is a new practice where entirely new set of users knowing their native languages uncover some realistic problems which were left uncovered during in-house testing. Problem solving with Innovative ideas comes when the combination of the core team & crowd sourced people are roped in
