Hi,
we're young and decently funded startup from Cambridge, MA that's
trying to build an open and scalable on-demand platform for
Computational Genomics helping scientists and medical workers to do
their research by both delivering tools they are using on top of
scalable infrastructure to process a large datasets and platform to
collaborate and share their data, processes and research with he rest
of the scientific community, while we're focusing on delivering the
infrastructure, platform and support. We know it's a hard problem, and
we know it's a lot of work, however we also know that with a good team
we stand a chance to deliver a fantastic product and we're trying to
build and be a part of that team. This obviously means we're hiring

Frontend Developer
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5/CSS
- Excellent knowledge of Javascript
- Experience with some major Javascript framework is a big plus
(jQuery, dojo, Prototype, etc.)
- Knowledge of SVG + Javascript is a big plus
- Eye for layout and typography is a big plus
- Knowledge of either Ruby/Python is s plus
- Experience with at least one of major Open Source MVC framework is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, capability to communicate both
problems and solutions
- Lack of wish to be a ninja, samurai or Shaolin monk, we are all
about delivering a great product not getting anyone hurt
- Proficiency in English Language
Frontend Application Engineer
- Excellent knowledge of HTTP protocol
- Excellent knowledge of either of Ruby/Python
- Experience with at least one of major Open Source MVC framework
(RoR/Django/Pylons)
- Excellent knowledge of OOP concepts and design patterns based on OOP paradigm
- Knowledge of some major component-based framework is a big plus
- Knowledge of Java is a big plus
- Good knowledge of HTML5/CSS/Javascript is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, capability to communicate both
problems and solutions

System Engineer
- Excellent knowledge of Linux internals
- Excellent knowledge of Shell scripting
- Experience with packaging, deploying, monitoring of a web services a must
- Knowledge of either Ruby or Python is a big plus
- Experience with Amazon services (EC2/S3) and Amazon web services
ecosystem is a big plus
- Experience with or willingness to master
Capistrano/Puppet/MCollective is a big plus
- Excellent communication skills, capability to communicate both
problems and solutions
- You're not into being "System Administrator" or BOFH, but building a
world-class scalable infrastructure helping the scientists across the
world
- Proficiency in English language
