Hello SPA,

One of our members received this email a few days ago (see below). To
summarize, Construx, a consulting firm that provides training on
software development best practices, has expressed an interest in
doing a training class in Anchorage in October. While in Seattle, I
attended a few of their free seminars and found that they generally
had good and relevant things to say.

If any of you are interested in any of their classes, please reply to
this post and I'll work with Tracy Barber (the original recipient) to
set something up. If there is enough interest, we may be able to get
a group rate. Yay! Power in numbers!

Tracy,

As a past public seminar attendee, you know that Steve McConnell wrote
what many folks consider to be the "Bibles" of software development
best practices;

Code Complete, Rapid Development, Software Project Survival Guide,
Professional Software Development and Software Estimation;
Demystifying the Black Art) Construx is best selling author Steve
McConnell's firm. Construx offers world-class software best practice
training, consulting and professional development services.

Would you have some interest in our conducting one or more of our
software best practice on-site seminars [http://www.construx.com/
Page.aspx?nid=15] during the month of October at one of your
facilities in Anchorage?

Maximum seating will be approximately 30 people.

Our Agile class for example, [http://www.construx.com/Page.aspx?
nid=17&id=38] is very popular right now.

Please feel free to forward this email onto the various software
groups.

Best regards,

Paul T. Donovan
