Object-relational mapping (ORM) frameworks solve the classic object-
oriented application development problem of serializing and persisting
objects to and from a relational database. In addition to being
highly reusable, these frameworks also make it easy to switch from one
database schema or engine to another. During this meeting Aaron Morse
will lead the discussion on ORM. Ross Martin, Dan Morphis, Oran
Dennison, and Jeremiah Dunham will talk about their experiences using
ORM frameworks as well. Please come to learn and share your knowledge
of ORM with the group!
