Four weeks to go until the Digital Preservation Awards 2026!

Four weeks from today, the global digital preservation community will come together for the Digital Preservation Awards 2026!

Organized by the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) every two years, the Awards are the leading international celebration of achievement in digital preservation. They recognize the people, projects and organizations making outstanding contributions to securing our digital legacy.

The 2026 finalists represent some of the very best work taking place across the digital preservation community. Selected from initiatives, projects and collaborations from all around the world, and completed between August 2024 and July 2026, they demonstrate the creativity, innovation and commitment driving our field forward.

The winners will be revealed at the Awards ceremony on Thursday 15 October 2026 at the National Film Archive – Audiovisual Institute (FINA) in Warsaw, Poland, as part of the No Time to Wait 10 conference. The ceremony will also be livestreamed, so you can join the celebration from wherever you are.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be shining a spotlight on our finalists and sharing more about their remarkable work. For now, you can meet all the DPA2026 finalists and explore their work on the Digital Preservation Awards webpages.
