Reminder: Metadata Interest Group meeting at 10am Eastern

Reminder that the Metadata Interest Group transition meeting will tomorrow (or today, depending on when you open this email!), June 26 at 10am Eastern.

SPN is working to recruit 1-2 new coordinators and additional new members to launch a new iteration of the Metadata Working Group.  If you have a software metadata-focused project you’d like to lead, now is a great time to get it started.

​For context: From March - June, MWG co-coordinators Dianne Dietrich and Claire Fox have facilitated monthly meetings to help transition the MWG to new leadership and new projects. This is the last transition meeting that Claire and Dianne will facilitate before departing the group. Again: now is a great time to get started with new projects, and we'd love to spend this next meeting helping those interested get started with their work.
