Hello,

I'm thrilled to share about a new project recently funded by the Institute for Museum and Library Services: Digital Games in Libraries (DGIL). As video games increasingly move to digital-only distribution methods, libraries are losing their ability to collect, preserve, and provide access to games. DGIL aims to start a bigger conversation between the librarians, game developers, and other stakeholder groups to address this critical issue. Find out more about the project here: https://go.uncg.edu/dgil.

The University of North Carolina Greensboro will be joining SPN in the second year of the project in order to help support this work. So look out for more information about DGIL through SPN channels in the months ahead!
