I invite you to join us on Thursday, July 9th at 4pm EST for our first public forum documenting SPN's sunset. 

For those who may not have heard- SPN has entered a structured, twelve-month sunsetting process. This is a proactive and values-aligned decision to responsibly conclude the current iteration of the Network while honoring the partnerships, working groups, and field-building efforts that have defined our work.

As we work through a strategic sunsetting plan, the bulk of our work has consisted of archiving, composting and distributing the work that SPN has produced during its tenure. For SPN, this has meant approaching asset disposition not as a checklist but as a values-aligned practice. The question guiding the work has not been "what do we have to do?" but "what do we owe the community that built this with us, and the people and groups that will carry the work forward?"

At our first public forum documenting SPN's sunsetting policy, we will chat about the strategies behind archiving, composting and distributing the work that made SPN what it was. Come to learn about the process and what's left for this work as near the end of our final year.
