We started a small group of developers and testers with Software
Planner today for Defects and the most questions have been around
sending emails from a defect. In our previous tool this functionality
was heavily used. Here are the questions so far.

1. Does the whole email address have to be entered? It appears to me
that it does but I wanted to see if I'm missing something here. There
does not seem to be any auto complete functionality but the email
address is defined in the user record so I'm hoping that I'm just
missing something.

2. Is there anyway to search for the person's email address when
sending from a defect? They had this ability before and didn't have
to know the actual email address.

3. There is an email icon on the listing screen but when inside the
defect in edit mode, is there any way to send an email from there
without going back out to the listing?

I think I've had the some query before.  Even an address book which was populated with all active users would be helpful (maybe defualting to the defect owner or person assigned).  Typing the email addresses is very error prone.

Point 3 is something I would definently like to see, as well as a way of creating a link to an item (that could be copy and pasted in an email).
