Hi,
Recently I have been attempting to schedule a custom Crystal Report
with the use of Software Planner. The Crystal Report functions
properly when issued manually, however, when using the scheduler, an
empty report is sent via email.
The only parameter required by the report is: ProjectName. Presently I
have the scheduler set with the argument: ProjectName=09-0500 311C
100.
Does the scheduler require the UserId, ProjId or any other argument?

Does the argument above require quotes or any other formatting?

Thanks

Hi Seth,

Most of the reports need to have the ProjId, UserId and DeptId passed
in. If you are passing in strings that contain spaces, I think you
have to substitute spaces with &20 (ie. MyParam=My Value would be
MyParam=My%20Value). You did not mention what the report name was,
if you let us know that we can offer some advice. One way to figure
this out is to go to Setup / Report Setup / Report Maintenance and
click on the parameters count, it will show you all the parameters.
Also, we do have a pretty good User's Guide that discusses Report
Maintenance, you can see it at http://www.softwareplanner.com/UsersGuide_Dashboard.pdf.

Thanks,
Steve
