Job advertisement postings??

Hello all,

I guess we are just too busy to chat much about SPE. Hope all is well.

I have a question about what you want to see posted here. The group
gets a lot of advertising type messages. We have not allowed those to
go through in the past. Recently there have been a lot of job
advertisements submitted. In the past we have allowed postings that
are related to performance and rejected the others. In todays economy
though, I guess if some of our members are seeking employment they
might prefer something even if it isn't performance and possibly move
into performance later. So I posted the one for a QA manager. I'm also
seeing some for programmers at one extreme and project managers at the
other. Maybe we know someone who would be interested in those. OTOH I
don't think any of us want to see too many messages that aren't
directly on topic.

So I'd like to see some discussion about what should be posted and
what should be rejected. Thanks for your input.

I see enough job ads that I would prefer to see them kept specific to performance. But I have no problem if others prefer to see them. It is awful nice to take the time to filter them like this ... Thank you!!  And I have no problem if you just toss them all. I mean could it be that they are just shot gun to every group with no attempt to match them to our subject? But I am guessing you would have gone crazy filtering if that were the case.
