Dear Mr. John Ousterhout,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am an Iranian software engineer currently studying your excellent book A Philosophy of Software Design. I would like to request your permission to share a few very brief and high-level summaries of selected topics from some chapters of your book as short LinkedIn posts. In each post, I will clearly mention that the ideas are taken from your book.

I have previously shared more detailed posts based on Luca Mezzalira’s Building Micro-Frontends, but the posts I intend to create from your book will be much shorter and more concise. I will only highlight a few high-level points from selected chapters, without any direct quotations or extensive use of the text.

This is my LinkedIn profile, where I plan to publish the posts, in case you would like to review it:

I would greatly appreciate your approval to proceed while fully respecting your authorship.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Seyed Mahdi Jalali
