I am a huge fan of this book! Is there a distilled version of all the ideas from this book which can be fed to an LLM to help it review code and use these insights in writing new code?

Thanks
- Khaja

It appears that LLMs have already incorporated APOSD (which would seem to be illegal, since it is copyrighted). For example, I have asked ChatGPT questions about APOSD and it seems to be able to answer. You might try asking your favorite LLM to review code according to ChatGPT (I haven't tried this); if you do, please report back here on your experiences.

Hi John,

It looks like Gemini knows more than just the context of your book: https://g.co/gemini/share/3d3832f22467

So yes, LLMs definitely can help you dive deeper into these topics. It would be even better if they nudged readers toward buying the book!

I also have to admit I sometimes ask Cursor to follow these principles when implementing features at work, so they're definitely being incorporated into those models as well.

Thanks for the book, by the way, it's a fantastic resource!

Atentamente

Hi,

I have tried this myself.
I asked ChatGPT and Gemini to suggest code base on the book. I have to admit it work quite well.

However, I still do recommend people to read the physical book entirely as it is totally worth it in the long run.  Judging your own code in general and being able to make immediate decusion on the writing style help a lot in the development workflow.

Best
PW.
