Hi
documentation says : "This fork of SoftRF now (from version MB151) stores the settings in a text file within the flash memory of the device, instead of an "EEPROM" binary block.  The first time the new version boots, it reads the existing settings from the "EEPROM" and copies them to the file."
I noticed, that this becomes true only after an usb connection to windows PC and FAT formatting, as proposed by windows, is carried out. I also had to make 1 change manually on the device using the buttons and Save, to have the settings.txt file generated.
And then it is just really easy. Thanks Moshe.

Yes I should have said "The first time the new version boots, it reads the existing settings from the "EEPROM, if any - otherwise the defaults are used".  And then you must "save the settings" for the file to be created.  If the flash area has not been formatted yet, you need to connect it to a PC and format the "drive" that opens up (FAT formatting, as proposed by Windows).  Then disconnect from the PC before saving the settings.  (The T-Echo cannot write to the flash file system while it is "mounted" by the PC.)
