BLE to UDP bridge

Hello,
I just started with SoftRF with a T-Echo and installed MB166.
I'm trying to get t-echo traffic data displayed on "sdvfr next" app on android.
The app is, at the moment, only able to integrate GDL90 via UDP (on port 4000 by default).
Do you know how I could "bridge" the BTLE from the T-Echo and a UDP flow on my android mobile ?
Thx

I just read this
"To whomever asked about not seeing the GDL90 Input in the settings.  What device are you running SoftRF on?  This setting is currently only shown (and usable) on a T-Beam ("Prime Mark 2").  Not a T-Echo nor a Mark 3.  (It is hard to add serial input to a T-Echo, and I have never had a Mark 3 on hand to try anything with.)"
So maybe, I'm out of luck anyway.

Hi and welcome!  Don't confuse GDL90 input to SoftRF (from an external ADS-B receiver, for example), which I have implemented for the T-Beam, and GDL90 output from SoftRF (to your app for example), which *I think* is OK on the T-Echo.  But yes a limitation of the T-Echo is that it only supports BLE and not WiFi.  With a T-Beam you can output UDP over WiFi directly, and that should solve your problem without a "BLE to UDP bridge" needed.  Another possible solution is a USB connection to your phone, with a USB OTG cable.  I have tested that recently with a USB-C OTG Y- cable (can send data and charge the phone at the same time).  But my test used the XCsoar app, which has the needed USB-serial drivers for Android built in.  They are not built into Android itself.  So that may or may not work with you app.

thx Moshe. Understood.
The app does expect GDL90 over UDP and nothing else.
I checked my BTLE output and it looks like GDL90 output is present. at least some non readable data is sent.
Maybe a bridge functionality from BTLE to UDP on the phone could fill the gap ...

If you have the option, use SkyDemon in Europe. That will work with t-echo

(Sent from my mobile device, please forgive typos or brevity)
