Hi,

I recently bought a TinkNode M1 from Elecrow and flashed SoftRF on it. My goals is to use it as a FLARM receiver (not transmitter) for my Oudie N. I got it to connect to my Oudie N succesfully. I can see the NMEA stream coming in, but I have yet to fly with it, so I do not know how it will work in flight.

After thinking about how to mount the device in the cockpit for a while, I decided to design a 1 inch ball RAM mount that attaches to the back of the device. It is held in place by two M2 bolts that screw into the thread inserts. Anybody interested can find the design here:

This is my first ever serious attempt to design a 3D print, so be gentle. :-) I 3D printed a previous version (see attached photo) which was good enough, but not quite good enough. the current version should fit better and be a tad more elegant (you be the judge). I have not printed the current version though,  so please review it carefully before printing it. You can always tweak the design to your own specs.

CU :-)

Jasper, don‘t forget to set the protocol to „Legacy“ (or „Latest“ in case of MB162) - I believe the default for upstream SoftRF for this device is OGN.

Thanks for the tip. I will review my settings!
