There was a subtle logic error in version mb174 that prevented transmissions in Time Slot 1 when the protocol was "Latest" and the flr_adsl dual reception mode setting was enabled.  Now posted version mb175 that fixes that.  Also added a re-compute of the checksum in GNSS sentences that are patched from $GN... to $GP... via the setting gn_to_gp.  Also improved the handling of long lists of IGC and NMEA files in the "manage files" part of the web interface.

Hi Moshe,
I did a check on the Checksum issue. MB175 does not fix it, sorry. The checksum is still wrong.
The system is still sending the old checksum.
Best regards
Andreas

Thanks for checking, Andreas.  I think I see why it didn't work.  (Did the checksum on the wrong buffer.)  Fixed it again in version mb176, now posted.

Hi, does anyone know how to connect the Sky View display to the T-Beam? I see Bluetooth BLE and can add it. Unfortunately, the display always plays the demo file. I can select everything in the settings, but it always shows the demo file. Connecting via UDP or serial doesn't work. The display is running version "NOAudio_vb007c2," and the latest version is installed on the T-Beam. Could someone send me their settings? Both the display and the T-Beam settings?

Carsten: your message is not readable in the Google Groups web page due to a very large font.  Try posting as plain text.  Regarding your question, which version of SkyView are you using?  I modified it considerably, a couple of years ago - find that within my github repo.

Okay, I'll try again. I have the version from slash-bit: SkyView_firmware_NOAudio_vb007a.bin. Does yours also include instructions on how to flash it? Best regards

I created the WAGG Skyview about 12 months ago based on Moshe MB06B.  It has a number of enhancements.  I have a version 2 that I will load to GitHub shortly which includes Comp IDs beside each traffic icon on the radar.

I think there are flashing instructions there.

Hi  Carsten,  I saw your message in the email and but not on Google space, for some reason.
Anyway, to answer your question , to change back from Demo mode, you could either got to Settings web page  and next Connections select Bluetooth LE( from the dropdown)
Or go to On-screen setting Menu and toggle Demo mode.

Hi Vlad, in version 7 the dropdown menu does Not work. it always  switched back to Demo Mode. In the older Version 6, i can select Bluethooth ble. I tried it many times.

Did you also try via on-screen menu ( page 2)?

Regards
Vlad.

Hi Vlad.

What does the "Bridge-Output" mean? Is it the data that passes throw to SkyDemon to a Smartphone?

I tried it yesterday and it Seams to be the Same Problem Like the "Connection Type".

The dropdown menu does not keep the settings After "Safe and restart".

I would Like to Connect my SoftRF and SkyDemon (Smartphone) with Bluethooth BLE together. Is „Bridge Output“ the Right Option for that? If I connect the Smartphone (SkyDemon) and the SkyView the SoftRF, the SkyView disconnects.

Greetings,
Carsten

Carsten:  I don't think you need the "bridge" option.  That (in my version of SoftRF) is for passing data from some other source (e.g., Stratux) through SoftRF to whereever SoftRF sends its output.  Since you only want the data from SoftRF itself (GPS+traffic) you don't need that.  Also remember that Bluetooth can only connect two devices.  In your case, SoftRF on the T-Beam with Skyview on the AMOLED device.  Or SoftRF on the T-Beam with SkyDemon on a smartphone.  You cannot have SoftRF accept "bridge" data from a third device via Bluetooth at the same time.  And you cannot have SoftRF send data to SkyDemon via Bluetooth at the same time as it is sending data via Bluetooth to SkyView.  (Or are you now asking about using SkyDemon *instead of* SkyView?)  Also remember that a Bluetooth connection always involves one "master" and one "slave".  Bluetooth in SoftRF is designed to connect to a smartphone (or SkyView).  (Which is the "master" and which is the "slave" I am not sure, but it works.)

If you do need to send data from SoftRF to two devices, you can use UDP (via WiFi) instead of Bluetooth.  In the case of WiFi, one device (SoftRF in this case) creates the network, and the other devices (e.g., a smartphone) connect to that existing network.  There is an option in SoftRF to have it connect to an existing network instead of creating its own, that is for use with, e.g., XCvario.  Even in that case SoftRF can send output via UDP, to be received by, for example, an app (such as SkyDemon) on a smartphone that is connected as a client to the WiFi network created by XCvario.

Ok, I got that. I wanted to connect SkyView and smartphone (SkyDemon) via Bluetooth to the SoftRF. I have now done it via UDP WiFi. It works . Thank you very much 👍
